NetScanTools Pro is one of the most widely used Network Information Utilities and a pioneer in the grouped network utilities arena.

Company History

Northwest Performance Software was founded in 1995 and incorporated in 1997. NetScanTools Standard was first released in 1995 with NetScanTools Pro being released in July 1999. We were originally located in the Covington/Maple Valley WA area and relocated to Sequim WA in 2000.

Key Personnel

• Kirk Thomas, Founder and President. Mr. Thomas graduated from Seattle University with a BSEE in 1983. While with Synetix, Inc. in 1983-1984, he was the designer of the SuperSprite and VideoSprite video cards for the Apple II series computers. Since that time he worked in the aerospace industry specializing in computer vision leaving to start this company. He is a co-inventor on a computer vision US Patent 5,727,300 FASTENER VERIFICATION SYSTEM.
